SELECT TEAMS 2023-2024

RHL selects tryouts have concluded.

Tryout participants have been notified of results.

The House Selects program is for the experienced house player that is looking for additional opportunities to develop as a hockey player. By playing in the Selects program, these players will have the opportunity to participate in additional practices and games against local area teams and in tournaments.

Players must try out for this team in order to participate on this team.

Selects Season Fee:
8U – $700
10U/12U/14U – $780

RHL Select Teams will be fielded based on interest and ice availability. We anticipate having teams at the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U levels. RHL Selects requires players to participate in RHL and is an additional fee.

RHL Selects practices begin in September. Practices will vary during the season, but most practices will be held on weekday evenings, Tuesday through Friday.

Games, tournaments, and 8U jamborees will be held on weekends, including some Friday evenings. Some tournaments will run into Mondays on holiday weekends like President's weekend. Tournaments may be in locations other than the Washington D.C. metro area (ie Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, PA) and may require players to miss a school day.

Players will be required to sign a commitment letter during tryouts which states that if selected, you agree to join the selects team and pay all associated fees. This letter will be sent at a later date to all registered for RHL Selects Tryouts.
