Capitals Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that Brian Lenaghan will be the Head Coach of the 2019-2020 Bantam White team.

Brian comes to us from Michigan where he had been coaching hockey since 2003 at a variety of levels that range from Midget AAA to Learn to Play. He is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.

Coach Lenaghan was instrumental in the establishment of the first ADM model association for USA hockey. During his tenure as President of Orchard Lake United hockey association, he successfully revamped the entire club structure around the ADM.  The club saw immediate success, including his 2001 Peewee team making it to the state championship.  Coach Lenaghan has coached teams at the highest level that include a 2006 Little Caesars State Championship (’97 birth year team) and coaching St. Mary’s prep Midget AAA.  Coach Lenaghan is excited to bring his vast level of coaching experience to our program.

Coach Lenaghan lives in Arlington with his wife Colleen.  He has had the privilege of coaching all three of his sons over the years.  His middle son, Connor, currently plays NCAA hockey for Becker College and his youngest son, Ryan, plays at the U18 level for the Washington Little Caps and is the captain for Bishop O’Connell High School.
