Capitals Academy is pleased to announce that Chris Tierney will be the Head Coach of the 2018-19 Peewee Blue team.

This will be Chris’s fourth season coaching teams at Kettler Capitals Iceplex, which includes RHL Squirts, RHL Peewees, Capitals Academy Tournament Teams, and Capitals Academy Travel Teams. Additional coaching experience includes coaching Mini Mite and Mite age groups while he attended college.

Chris’s playing experience includes being a starting goalie for the Bay State Games intra-state Olympic tournament, Massachusetts High School hockey (First team All-Western Massachussets team), and had opportunities to play NCAA Division III Hockey before ultimately deciding to attend Fairfield University to play lacrosse.

Chris is a Level 2 USA Hockey certified coach and intends to receive his Level 3 certification this summer.
