Capitals Academy is pleased to announce that Ben Allen will be the Head Coach of the 2018-19 Squirt White team.

This will be Ben's fourth year coaching at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.  He has coached at the minimite, mite, and squirt levels for Rooftop Hockey League teams and Capitals Academy teams. 

Ben is a native Washingtonian and began his playing career with the now defunct Capital Boys Hockey Club and then played 5 years with the Washington Little Capitals before going to play high school hockey in New England.  Ben played club hockey at Vanderbilt University and then went on to play two seasons with the Sun Valley Suns of the Black Diamond Hockey league. 

As a coach, Ben focuses on fundamental skill development and ensuring that kids love going to the rink each and every day.

Ben is a USA Hockey Level 3 coach and intends to complete his Level 4 certification this summer.
