Has your skater ever wanted to be a star under the spotlights at MedStar Capitals Iceplex? Now is your chance! We are excited to offer our Spring Ice Show to Learn to Skate students beginning with Snowplow Sam 2 and up, as well as skaters in Pewter through Gold levels! We will have 6 weeks of practice followed by two shows. Sign up NOW and join us for a trip around the world!

Ice show details

-Each level will have six rehearsals, not including the run through and dress rehearsal. 

-Each registrant will pay $264 to participate in the show as this covers rehearsals, run through, dress rehearsal, a free (world tour band) T-shirt, and a costume for the skater to keep!


Our Solo or Duet Tryouts will take place
Sunday 4/7/2024 at 6:30PM

If our non-skating judges think you have what it takes to bring down the house, you will be awarded one of our coveted spots.

There are no required rehearsals other than the run through on 6/4 and dress rehearsal on 6/6. All those awarded a solo/duet must do their own choreography.

If you aren't awarded a solo or duet you can still participate in a small featured number. Additional charges may apply.

$150 registration fee includes the Run Through, Dress Rehearsal, TWO Performances with one free ticket to each performance, a free (world tour band) T-shirt, and costume to keep!
*Only Skaters who have passed their Preliminary Freestyle test are eligible to tryout.

Important Information-Please Read!

All rehearsals are MANDATORY. This includes our Run-Through on Tuesday 6/4 from 6:30-8:00pm, the Dress Rehearsal on Thursday 6/6 from 5:30pm-7:00pm, and BOTH performances on Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th.

  • Please remember that all skaters want to be proud of their hard work and each number requires the whole team to work together for the best performance possible.
  • We know life happens but if you know you will not be able to attend more than one of these dates, do not register. Thank you in advance.

There is no rehearsal on Sunday 5/26.

1. Each skater will receive 1 free ticket to each performance.
2. We will not give refunds.
3. Costumes cannot be returned so please double check your measurements.

*Skaters must arrive 45 minutes before each performance and stay for the entire performance. Please be mindful that every skater deserves a full audience while they skate. Feel free to pack a snack and any other quiet activity (ie. books, games, IPad) to keep your child occupied while waiting to either perform or for the completion of each performance. We will have staff staying with all performers while the show is running.
