Note Important Registration Timeline:

November 1 - 10th: RETURNING FALL 2025 RHL 6U PLAYER PRIORITY REGISTRATION

November 11th: OPEN REGISTRATION. Registrants must meet the requirements of previous house league experience (at MedStar or other rink) or two LTP series experience (at MedStar or other rink. Future Caps is considered LTP.)

ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER FOR THEIR BIRTH YEAR, NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

Anticipated 6U Winter Season Start Date:
Saturday, December 6, 2025
7:10-8:20am

 

No sessions on 12/27, or 2/14.

Season fee: $490

Registration begins at 7pm for each time period.

Only online registration is available at this time. In-person registrations are not available.

RHL fills quickly, so PLEASE REGISTER EARLY. Once a level is full, a waitlist will be available. Ensure that you have your 2025-2026 USA Hockey number available during registration. You are required to have your 2025-2026 USA Hockey number at least 24 hours in advance. Hint: the fourth digit will be a 6.

 

GOALIE REGISTRATION:

 

Goalie registration time periods are the same as player registration. A separate Goalie registration link is available for goalies (10U, 12U, and 14U/16U). There are no full-time goalies at 6U or 8U.

 

USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION

We require all House League participants to register independently with USA Hockey at membership.usahockey.com. You will not be able to register for the season without a valid 2025-2026 USA Hockey registration. We strongly encourage you to have your new USA Hockey number at least 24 hours in advance of registration. This will be a 14-digit alphanumeric with a "6" as the fourth digit. Please have this number on-hand during registration.

 

SEASON INFORMATION AND TEAM ASSIGNMENTS:

• Season operates from September to mid-March.
• Skill development is incorporated for all teams through USA Hockey’s American Development Model recommended guidelines. ADM provides age-appropriate guidelines and curriculum to hockey associations across America to help more kids play, love, and excel in hockey.
• Hockey Director and RHL Coaches will evaluate and divide players into balanced teams for the season.
• Coaches are USA Hockey certified.
• Team Jersey included.
• Prerequisite: All players must have completed at least 2 sessions of Youth Learn-To-Play classes or have previously played in the house league.
• Evaluation Skate and Pre-Season Training Camp will take place in late August. Registration and additional details will posted on our website.
• Goalie fees are the same as player fees.
• We anticipate each team having 20 practices and 20 games unless noted otherwise.

6U - Birth Years 2019, 2020

• Practices: Players will be divided into small groups and placed into stations. Each station will incorporate drills for skill development and fun.
• Anticipated practices/games early Saturday mornings.
• 10-week season begins in September.
• A second 10-week season will be offered December-March 2026.
• Cost: $490

 

8U - Birth Years 2017, 2018

• We anticipate that practices will be held on Mondays evenings.
• Games will be cross-ice with a warm-up and two 25-minute periods.
• There are no full-time goalies in Mites. The coach will rotate goalies each game. RHL provides goalie gear for Mites.
• Anticipated games will be held on Sunday mornings OR Sunday afternoons.
• Cost: $1,590

 

10U - Birth Years 2015, 2016

• We anticipate that practices will be held on Mondays evenings.
• Multiple teams will practice together during each practice session.
• Games will be half-ice and consist of a 3-minute warm-up and about 50 minutes of playing time.
• Anticipated games will be held on Saturday mornings OR afternoons.
• Cost: $1,590

 

12U - Birth Years 2013, 2014

• We anticipate that practices will be held on Monday or Tuesday evenings.
• Multiple teams will practice together during each practice session.
• Games are full-ice and consist of a 3-minute warm-up and three 12-minute periods.
• Anticipated games will be held on Saturday mornings OR afternoons.
• Cost: $1,590

14U/16U

Birth Years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012

• Anticipated games on Saturday evenings.
• This is a games-only league (no practices).
• This is a non-checking league.
• Cost: $1,250

SELECT TEAMS 2025-2026

The House Selects program is for the experienced house player that is looking for additional opportunities to develop as a hockey player. By playing in the Selects program, these players will have the opportunity to participate in additional practices and games against local area teams and in tournaments.

Tryouts will be held on in late August. Additional details will be posted on our website later in the summer.

RHL Select Teams will be fielded based on interest and ice availability. We anticipate having teams at the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U levels. RHL Selects requires players to participate in RHL and is an additional fee.
